University Police & Public Safety

As part of our regular “We Are!” feature, we recognize 16 Penn Staters who have gone above and beyond what’s asked of them in their work at the University.   

Penn State University Police and Public Safety, in partnership with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, will hold a “Cram the Cruiser” holiday donation drive event benefiting Toys for Tots from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1. Participants can drop off donations of new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages at two convenient locations: Medlar Field (Porter North parking lot) and the Bryce Jordan Center (in front of the ticket office).

As part of our regular “We Are!” feature, we recognize 15 Penn Staters who have gone above and beyond what’s asked of them in their work at the University.   

University leaders are aware that student organizations are scheduling speakers this fall whose presence and rhetoric may spark controversy on campus. As a public university, Penn State must uphold the constitutional principles of free expression guaranteed to all Americans under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

National Coffee with a Cop Day is Wednesday, Oct. 2, and Penn State police officers are celebrating by giving away coffee and snacks at 22 Penn State campuses across Pennsylvania.
